Since the moment I first laid eyes on them on the LFW catwalk back in February, I have been head over heels in love with Burberry Prorsum's studded gloves (above left). Crafted in the most butter soft leather imaginable and studded with gorgeous gold, they are undoubtedly my Holy Grail of chic autumn accessorising. However at £395 it's unlikely I'll be investing in them any time soon.
Believe me, if my numbers come up on the lottery they will be first on my shopping list. My excitement knew no bounds when last week I discovered that none other that ASOS has created a much more wallet-friendly alternative (above right)! Though slightly shorter in length than the Burbs pair, and obviously not quite as luxurious, at less than a tenth of the price these are an absolute snip at £35. Words cannot express my joy.
