Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Christmas party season is only a matter of weeks away. I'm certain it will creep up unexpected and find me as unprepared as usual, which is why I would advise to get in early with the party dress purchases before all the good'uns get snapped up.
Pick of the bunch for me this season has got to be this sumptuously sparkling number from Monsoon. Beloved of Mums countrywide, Monsoon is a surprisingly hot contender when it comes to a sparkly party number. Well cut, gorgeous quality, and always on the right side of skimpy (not judging, but my days of strapless/bodycon/mini skirts are o-v-e-r) I find them a classier way to do festive sparkle.
This Astrid Tunic is a gorgeous concoction of nude chiffon with heavy black jet beading which I'm certain will look beyond chic with black opaque tights and my ever faithful suede and patent stiletto ankle boots. Form a queue girls, I doubt this one will be around for long!
