eBay.co.uk Launches Exclusive Collection with House of Holland

Love London

Now that the dreaded V-Day is over and done with, we can focus on what is really February's most important holiday (or at least should be). Yes my friends, London Fashion Week is upon us. The next few days hold countless shows, presentations and events which I shall do my best to bring you as much of as possible, however first let us start with news from the online world of a little designer collaboration... This evening will see the launch of eBay.co.uk's exclusive collaboration with House of Holland, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK. The capsule collection comprising four items - a dress, an oversized slogan t-shirt, an iPhone cover and a pair of tights - will be emblazoned with the signature House of Holland AW13 ‘rave wave’ print. Fans of the label will have access to items inspired by the catwalk long before the AW13 collection is available in-store.

The collection will be available exclusively on eBay.co.uk from 7pm tonight to coincide with the start of the House of Holland show at LFW, until midnight on Sunday 24th February, from the Fashion Exclusives platform at www.fashionexclusives.ebay.co.uk. Items range from £25 to £100 and can be shipped anywhere in the UK.

The new range is a progression of the relationship between eBay and House of Holland which was established in September 2012 when the label was part of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Forward initiative, supported by eBay. However, this is the first time eBay.co.uk has worked with a designer on a collection exclusively designed for and stocked on the site.

Melanie Smallwood, head of eBay fashion brands says; “Henry Holland is a fantastic British designer. By collaborating with House of Holland we’ll give the label access to our 17 million eBay shoppers and will also raise funds for Cancer Research UK.”

Henry Holland commented; “The items I’ve designed for eBay have been inspired by my AW13 collection. I’m excited to be able to bring something exclusive and exciting to a completely new audience. I hope I am paving the way for more opportunities for designers coming through the BFC’s Fashion Forward programme.”

Frances Milner, supporter led fundraising director at Cancer Research UK, said: “We’re thrilled Henry Holland and eBay have chosen to support Cancer Research UK with this exciting new range. Henry’s been a keen and active supporter of the charity over recent years, as has eBay for Charity, and we’re very grateful for their support. The funds raised from these exclusive items will go towards vital research and will help us to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.”
