Founded in 2008 and originally sold on a Portobello market stall, Torula is the brainchild of Anglo-French self-taught designer Emeline Coates. From humble beginnings as a small-scale weekend venture, the brand has now flourished into a full-time business focusing on luxurious handbags that seamlessly fuse understated Parisian chic with cutting-edge London style.
Coates works with an experienced team of craftsmen based in Istanbul to create her stunning collection; it's hard to choose a favourite but I think mine has to be the amazing Hyde Park, a fabulous evening clutch with wraparound strap.
