Legendary musicians, incredible tributes to great artists and four days and nights of top-notch music at the Royal Albert Hall. Sounds pretty perfect, right?
From Tuesday 29 October to Friday 1 November, the legendary likes of Bobby Womack, Van Morrison, Robert Plant, Mick Hucknell and Ronnie Wood will take to the stage at the West London music venue for BluesFest - an event dedicated to blues artists, old and new.
Performances will take place in the main auditorium, and also in other rooms around the hall during the day – meaning the RAH will be oozing out some well-loved old tunes, for four non-stop spectacular days.
Day, early evening and late evening tickets are all available – starting from just £10 for the daytime sessions. And if you’ve ever been to the Royal Albert Hall, you’ll know just how special it is to see a show within this beautiful dome.
On Friday 1 November, Ronnie Wood will close the festival with a tribute to the late Jimmy Reed, a great blues artist known for tracks such as Honest I Do and Bright Lights, Big City. And to make this finale even more amazing, Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor will be joining Ronnie on stage – creating another moment of musical history right there.
