Thirty years after she began her career on the very same plot, fragrance entrepreneur Jo Malone last week opened her first JO LOVES boutique on London's Elizabeth Street.
A far cry from the florist's shop where a 16 year old Jo had her first job, the new store houses the first JO LOVES Fragrance Brasserie Bar, which like a river of red, runs through the heart of the store. Order Fragrance Tapas and experience fragrance like never before; Bath Cologne is served from steaming hot tagines, warm Body Lotion and Crèmes are painted onto your skin and Bath & Shower Gel is shaken, not stirred, and served over the rocks. This isn't just shopping, this is a fragrance experience like no other.
To celebrate returning back to her roots, Jo has created the Flower Shop Collection, three floral fragrances which bring her original Elizabeth Street memories to life. The collection includes No 42.The Flower Shop, A Shot of Fresh Sweet Peas and A Shot of Muguet & Cedar - I can't wait to try them out and report back!
