Happy New Year my little fashion friends! I do hope your festive season was all kinds of splendid.
London is diving head first back into fashion for 2014 with the opening of the menswear shows on Monday. London Collections: Men will showcase the AW14 collections of over 50 designers across three days, including big hitters such as Burberry Prorsum and Tom Ford alongside young guns including JW Anderson and the Fashion East installations. I'll be at the Katie Eary show on Wendesday so watch this space for the latest from her.
It's also been announced today that fine fragrance house Penhaligon's has been named the Official Scent of London Collections: Men 2014. This is not the first time the British perfume house has worked exclusively with the British Fashion Council. Last September Penhaligon’s scented the home of London Fashion Week, Somerset House with the invigorating scent of Quercus.
In 2014, London Collections: Men will be scented with the timeless classic, Blenheim Bouquet. A bracing mix of citrus oils, spices and woods, it was originally created over one hundred years ago, though smells today just as current as ever. Matthew Huband, Head of Global Marketing at Penhaligon’s says of the collaboration "Blenheim Bouquet is both classic and modern, a fragrance which has retained its relevance throughout its 111 year history. Discreet, masculine and fresh, Blenheim is the perfect fragrant accompaniment to London Collections and we're thrilled to be taking part once again." Available in stores across London and online at www.penhaligons.com
