The promise of a new season ahead brings with it the urge for a new handbag purchase. The heavy black Mulberry bucket bag I tote around during the winter months seems somewhat cumbersome and heavy as spring approaches and the need for carrying round gloves, scarves and extra layers become less prevalent.
A zippy little number is the order of the day as the weather warms up (which it will... soon... it has to right...?) and few do them as well as French fashion powerhouse Chloé. Casual, summery elegance is their specialist subject and this newb that's just dropped into Selfridges pushes all my buttons. the Lucy leather shoulder bag is big enough for all my day to day rubbish without being overly clunky. The only downside is the price tag. At £1,945, I should probably be spending that on rent and sticking with Topshop. A girl can dream eh?
