Get Your Sweat On at Hotpod Yoga

Love London

Anyone looking to shake up their workout this summer might fancy trying the new Dynamic Flow class at Hotpod Yoga/.

A natural progression from the Hotpod Yoga Signature classes, which take place in inflatable pods heated to 37 degrees, this new class has a strong Vinyasa focus with all postures and stages of the sequence being built around the Vinyasa. Key differences include fewer pauses for breath and fewer pauses for explanation – less distractions equals improved mental and physical impact. The strong focus on breath, linking it seamlessly to the flow, ensures maximum focus, strong meditative benefits and a complete body workout.

Yogi and Co-Founder Nick Higgins says: ‘We’ve seen big progress in so many of our regulars (who started off with us as first-timers) that we’ve decided to offer a choice of levels. I designed the dynamic flow sequence to take people to the next level. It is pretty much a constant flow, building on our original sequence, but increasing the intensity a little, advancing some of the postures and challenging people to step out of their comfort zone. It should be a natural progression for people to want to push themselves a bit more; now they have the opportunity.”

The attitude and approach to each class won’t change, it will still be down-to-earth and fun: “This class is for people who want to get into the pod, immediately shut themselves off from the world and then get down to it - maximum impact in just an hour. The music will be the same vibe, but fitting with the sequence - firm beat and steady tempo to help push people along.”

This high intensity class, with a greater calorie burn and challenging postures brings satisfaction, a confidence boost and a physically stronger body. Classes are in every Thursday evening at Hotpod Yoga's three venues (6.30pm in Brixton, 7pm in Notting Hill and Hackney) as well as Saturday mornings at 11.30am at each studio.
