Wedding season is most definitely upon me; three already this year, a hen do this weekend, another in a fortnight and three more weddings before July is even out. What to wear is ALWAYS a nightmare, particularly when faced with different scenarios...
Church or country garden? Buffet supper or black tie dinner? To hat or not to hat? Luckily the fact that each wedding is a different group of friends means I can get away with recycling an outfit, but I still need a hardworking dress that could do the rounds and look good for every situation.
Step forward ASOS, which came to the rescue this evening in the form of its Mirror Floral V Back Shift. Just on the borderline of smart/casual the beautifully coloured floral print means minimal accessories are needed. For a more formal do I'd sling on a tailored 3/4 sleeve dress coat and heels, or for my bessie's country garden hog roast it will be teamed with gold sandals, beach babes hair and an armful of bangles. I have a feeling it's going to get a lot of wear this summer...
