Oh Burberry, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
The latest Christmas campaign from the British luxury house was unveiled last night, starring a cheeky young chap with golden feet, none other than Master Romeo Beckham.
The film was launched with a screening at the global flagship store, 121 Regent Street, attended by RB along with his parents. Directed by Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, the short film tells a beautiful story of Christmas gifting.
Set against a theatrical London backdrop, the film comes to life with 50 dancers who give a performance inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals. The story is of a boy delivering the gift of love to a young couple, played by new British models and dancers Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, who take him on a journey of romance and festive enchantment through the streets of London. I fell in love the moment I saw it.
The festive make up look, created for the Christmas campaign by Burberry Make-up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe, under the creative direction of Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Bailey, is certainly one I will be sampling this season. The naturally illuminated skin with golden highlights was perfectly highlighted with gold enhanced eyes and lips and nails in festive red hues. Rowe commented on the look "This make-up look was all about celebrating the spirit of the festive season, and the overall mood and attitude of the campaign.”
I can't wait to get my hands on the new Gold Glow Fragranced Luminising Powder, Oxblood Lip Mist and Nail Polish and the Military Red Lip Velvet - methinks I may be paying a visit to Burberry's Covent Garden Beauty Box sometime in the not so distant future...
