A rather exciting new pop up opened its doors this week, in the form of Dawn O’Porter's first shop for her vintage label, BOB.
The Seven Dials boutique launched on Tuesday, housing a collection personally curated by Dawn to encompass the fun and free-spirited personality of her clothing brand BOB. The store will be the first time BOB is readily available for the public to come and experience the brand, meet with Dawn and have fun trying on dresses which include one-of-a-kind vintage dresses from BOB Vintage as well as the new vintage inspired ready-to-wear
collection BOB by Dawn O’Porter.
BOB Vintage will offer unique handpicked original items by Dawn including many of her unseen favourite vintage finds that will go on sale for the very first time. In contrast BOB by Dawn O’Porter brings a contemporary update to Dawn’s favourite vintage styles including new fabrics and prints perfectly designed for the modern silhouette.
Open for three weeks, the BOB pop up exudes a feeling of nostalgia with its retro props, colour pops and vintage furnishings. Dawn invites shoppers to enjoy their BOB experience and hang out with friends on the sofa while mix and matching a vintage inspired wardrobe with surprise ‘pop up’ treats taking place throughout each week.
Dawn O’Porter commenting on the concept store says, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be opening my first store in the heart of Seven Dials. I’m in love with the vibrancy and energy of the area and it’s been my go-to shopping destination for many years. The store is the perfect space to represent my brand and I’m so excited to meet BOB customers to show them my new collection.”
The new store will celebrate all female body shapes with an extensive size range on offer on all collections. Customers will instantly feel at ease entering the store to find mannequins of all sizes styling the BOB collections. Dawn will also be available to offer tips and style advice to help women incorporate vintage into their everyday wardrobes.
