The world-famous Abbey Road Studios has opened its doors to a new retail store selling a brand new range of merchandise in-store and online.
The store at 5 Abbey Road - next door to the Studios in St. John’s Wood - carries a wide range of merchandise from music to books to homewares and clothing along with plenty of music-inspired gifts, highlighting the studio's heritage, with much of the inspiration coming from recording equipment to the building’s architecture and studio features, the famous crossing and the graffiti tributes from devotees who’ve made the pilgrimage from all over the world. In keeping with the Studios’ pioneering role in the development of recorded music there’s also a range of technology based products from respected brands like Sonos and a number of innovative music-making products.
The store will feature a rotating display of related memorabilia and artefacts such as vintage microphones from Abbey Road’s vast collection.
