A Blast of Blooms from Penhaligon's

Love London

It's always worth noting when Penhaligon’s unveils a new fragrance, they rarely step an olfactory foot wrong and the latest addition to their collection is no exception. Blasted Bloom is the new scent inspired by the extreme, wild and passionate landscape of the British Isles 'that moment where the Land meets the Sea and untamed energy explodes'.

Composed by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, it explores an olfactory palette reminiscent of the colours, textures and sensations of the wild coast. Cold neutrals, earthy browns, navy blues, textures inspired by rock, bark or earth, two fragrances of contrast, of freedom.

Alberto Morillas drew inspiration from the northern lands of Scotland, where untamed elements compose a dramatic painting. He imagined both fragrances in the same way a painter depicts the raw energy of nature, capturing the free-spirited landscape. In each, the energy and majesty of the Sea meets the natural richness of the Land.

With top notes of wild berries, aquatic accord and green leaves, a heart of eglantine, pink pepper and hawthorn and a woody base of Alaskan cedarwood essence, clearwood, moss and musks, Blasted Bloom is a softly earthy scent, transporting you to the rural woods and coasts of Scotland. A gorgeous inter fragrance.

50ml (£90) and 100ml (£124) available now at www.penhaligons.com
