Ahoy there mateys! In true San Francisco style, everyone's favourite beauty brand from across the pond has trumped itself with its latest pop up with the launch of the Good Ship Benefit!
Setting up home on the Thames for the next five months and opening next Saturday, visitors will be transported from Benefit’s hometown, to tropical beaches via the secret lair of spy gal. With three decks of fun, glamour and pampering, it’s all about setting sail on the Good Ship Benefit this spring.
Housed aboard the R.S. Hispaniola and located at the Victoria Embankment, the pop up will be a place for girls to discover the different worlds celebrating some of Benfit’s hero products and services with cocktails, afternoon tea and culinary experiences thrown in for good measure!
As the number one eyebrow brand in the UK, Good Ship Benefit will pay homage to all things brows alongside rooms dedicated to the award winning bronzing powder Hoola, the UK’s number one selling primer, POREfessional and Bene t’s best-selling mascara, They’re Real! So it’s time for London’s guys and girls to live the San Francisco dream.
The Brow Lounge Benefit has been magically transforming brows since 1976 and 2016 is the Year of the Brow. After visiting one of Benefit’s beloved brow experts on the first deck for a signature service, girls will be able to show off their wow brows and be amazed by a luxurious afternoon tea, rounded off with a glass of bubbles.
The POREfessional Vault Girls must find the secret vault and step through the door into Spy Gal’s lair where all the secrets of flawless skin will be unlocked! A 1960s, spy- chic space, this room is the place to avoid makeup slippage and seek out that flawless finish. Enjoythis skin-perfecting room with your POREfect cocktail, specifically tailored to each girl and created by our head barman, Matt Rescue.
Lashitude at the Upper Deck With the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament in full view of Good Ship Benefit’s leading restaurant, it may be London outside but on deck three, girls will be transported into a world inspired by Benefit’s award winning mascara, They’re Real!, which gives bigger and bolder lashes – with attitude! Expect a range of delectable delights which will be served for Bene t fans to enjoy whilst having a gossip with the girls over lunch or dinner.
Hoola Decks Aloha to summer! Bringing the beach to the boat are the Hawaii-inspired Hoola decks. The luxury decks come complete with Tiki huts and cabanas where girls will be able to sip cocktails from the beach bar, all served from one of Benefit’s Hoola hunks. It’s also time to celebrate strong not skinny on the beach this summer, with exclusive fitness classes taking place on the Hoola decks.
The Pinkton Parlour Whether it’s a coffee or a cocktail, all are welcome at Good Ship Benefit’s Pinkton Parlour. Be transported to the land of laidback fabulousness and watch the world go by on the River Thames.
All five rooms will be open from the date of launch with more exciting rooms, new products and exclusive experiences to be revealed throughout the five months. During this time, Benefit will be spreading its feel-good approach to beauty by o ering guests the opportunity to donate to charities Look Good Feel Better and Refuge, both who help women and girls facing times of adversity. Guests who climb on board during the month of May and have their brows waxed can donate via text and will receive a complimentary Gimme Brow (worth £18.50).
