Fashion Find of the Week...

Love London

Ah, April. The month of intermittent daily showers, an inevitable freak heatwave in three weeks time and, oh yes, the start of wedding season.

Somewhat miraculously I only have one this year so the usual stresses of finding seven different outfits (no joke; I once had seven in as many months...) are null and void. Huzzah - I shall only be needing one outfit! This time round I have a sneaky suspicion it may end up coming from the new Hobbs' Collection No. 6.

The new collection marks the brand's sixth in its award-winning collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that looks after some of England's most historic and magnificent buildings including Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace.

This year celebrations focuses on Hampton Court Palace gardens and the 300th Birthday of British garden maestro Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and the collection reflects the by drawing inspiration from the exotically beautiful tulip displays of the traditional Baroque gardens, the world's largest vine planted by Brown in 1768 and the detailed botanical drawings of the Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society.

With soft prints, blousy florals, Italian jacquard and luxurious lace features, it's a beautifully feminine collection without being to twee; crisp pattern cutting, fit and flare dresses and sleek summer coats make for the perfect occasion wear capsule wardrobe. I love the sleeveless shell top and matching floral print trouser - a fresh update on a classic floral print in a modern cut that will be perfect for this year's wedding season.

Prices from £35-£379. Available now from www.hobbs.co.uk
