Go Behind The Scenes of Burberry at The Makers House

Love London

This week will see the cream of the world's fashion industry once more descend on the capital for London Fashion Week and though mere mortals may not be able to rub shoulders with industry insiders at the shows, one brand is flinging open its doors to give you a glimpse into their world.

This season, Burberry is launching a brand new show venue, Makers House, at 1 Manette Street in the heart of Soho, resplendent with a pop up café in the form of its all-day eatery, Thomas's and open to the public for a week-long series of events and experiences

Thomas’s will sit within the new show venue, offering a set menu using the finest seasonal produce from small farmers and artisan suppliers from around the UK. A selection of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea dishes can be enjoyed all day, from Constance Spry’s coronation chicken with rice salad, to Millionaire’s Shortbread and Toasted Crumpets with butter and Jam. Guests can enjoy a selection of soft and hot drinks, cocktails and wine, including Nyetimber and Lalani Tea.

"Makers House" will be open to the public daily from 10:00am until 7:00pm from 21-27 September and will feature some of Britain’s finest craft makers bringing the inspiration behind the new collection to life through a daily changing programme of activities and immersive installations.
