I decided to try it out for myself, this morning no less, with a mere 4 hours until I leave for my holiday...
The booking system, through the Missbeez app downloadable from the Apple Store and Google Play, couldn't be simpler. Choose your treatment, choose your time, and it will let you know which therapists are available in your area.
Magdalena rocked up at my door at 9am this morning with her trolley full of goodies, ready to turn my talons into a holiday-worthy manicure. She's a nail connoisseur (and came highly recommended). We had a good old chinwag over a cup of tea while she worked her magic on my fingers and toes, lacquering them up with with a gel polish in the deliciously named Lobster Roll, all in the comfort of my living room with the radio buzzing in the background.
The whole thing to 1 hour 45 for a gel manicure and full pedicure. The speed, ease and convenience of having someone come to your home for beauty treatments is invaluable - not only for the cash-rich and time-poor, I imagine it would be an utter godsend for those living not in the direct vicinity of good salons, or those who have small children and can't get out and about easily.
The only probably will be deciding what to do. The current list of services includes nails, massages, hair removal, hair styling, make up, HD brows, lash extensions, spray tans, facials... good luck just choosing one!
