Here Comes the Bride

Love London

It's no secret that wedding dresses are a pricey business. While the likes of Suzanne Neville and Jenny Packham are the dream, most of us mere mortals would never be able to even consider spending the thousands of pounds they charge for a dress that, while undoubtedly stunning, you're going to wear once.

There's been a wealth of seriously good high street collections in recent years and TOPSHOP has just announced it's joining the ranks with its first ever bridal range. Available globally online and in selected stores from Thursday 13th April, the collection comprises five limited-edition bridal dresses in an assortment of versatile silhouettes, including strapless, tie-shoulder and Bardot styles finished with tiered layers, peplums and sweeping trains. Each style has been elegantly designed with detailing including bias-cut satin, floral appliqués in silk organza, draped lace and fine tulle prom designs. Fabrications and colours exude a vintage feel in ivory ripple textured crêpe and dresses delicately embellished with pearls and silver threads.

TOPSHOP Bride will also offer a selection of 25 bridesmaid dresses including soft cold-shoulder gowns with ruffles, cowl tie satin slips and cape-sleeved maxi dresses; available in an array of muted pastels such as soft heather and butterscotch in addition to pretty floral prints. A carefully edited selection of shoes, hair accessories and lingerie complete the collection.

Brides-to-be can book a complimentary appointment within the Personal Shopping Suites in selected TOPSHOP stores to try on the dresses in a relaxed and luxurious setting. Prices range from for bridal styles and £85-£245 for bridesmaids.

Available from 13th April at www.topshop.com
