EASTER TREATS TO INDULGE IN THIS WEEK

Love London

Spring has sprung and Easter is hurtling towards us with its sugar-coated deliciousness. Here are three of our favourite sweet treats that we can’t wait to indulge in…

The Easter Afternoon Tea At Home from Conrad London St. James (above) is full of traditional and contemporary sweet delights, including Simnel Cake, Bunny Macaroon, egg-shaped Apricot and Pistachio Sponge Delice and a Jivara Chocolate and Passionfruit Tartlet topped with a cute bird's nest and mini-eggs, along with finger sandwiches, a delicious red onion tartlet with smoked bacon and sundered tomatoes and scones with lemon curd, strawberry compote and Devonshire clotted cream. £55.00 for two people or £99.00 for two with a bottle of Pommery Champagne, including free three mile delivery from Westminster (additional delivery fee applies for deliveries up to 6 miles). The tea can also be pre-ordered and collected from the hotel. Order from [email protected] or call 0203 301 8080.

Doyenne of dessert Creams Café has teamed up with Cadbury’s this Easter to create a delectable range of doughnuts, topped with Cadbury Creme Eggs® and Cadbury Mini Eggs® (£8.95). There’s also a sky-high pancake stack on the menu, topped with Cadbury Mini Eggs® (£6.95). These egg-stra special treats are available to order online until 9th April (or while stocks last) from www.creamscafe.com.

Luxury French tea emporium, Mariage Frères, has just launched a beautiful new box of tea-infused ‘Joyeux’ Easter Eggs - creamy ganache infused with Thé de Pâques crème brûlée under a crisp shell of chocolate speckled with colourful, festive dots. Each box features four delicious flavours: dark chocolate ganache, almond, almond praline and hazelnut gianduja, priced at £39. All products are available at Selfridges London or for nationwide delivery from www.mariagefreres.com
