Head down to Spitalfields this week to experience the Winter Pop Up from Made in Mexico, a new creative hub spotlighting contemporary Mexican design. Located at 42 Brushfield Street until Sunday and free to enter, the Made in Mexico Winter Pop Up brings together a varied collection of homewares, furniture, jewellery, clothing, accessories and more from 22 designers and independent brands from different states of Mexico, showing the very best from its artisan community.
All pieces are handcrafted and have been expertly curated to showcase the region’s excellent high-quality design. Designers spotlighted include ceramic artist Anna Lebrija, textile brand Taller Maya and homeware experts & Jacob. As well as being a shop, the space will also act as a gallery, where guests can learn about the heritage and people behind each piece, while discovering the various traditional techniques and materials used all around Mexico.
