I recently visited for a post-work appointment, admittedly the first facial I've had in a while. With no specifically dramatic skin concerns, bar general lacklustre appearance, annoyance and the increase of fine lines and wrinkles and some mild congestion, I settled down for the Glow Facial, the signature treatment and Cecilia's most popular. Kicking off with a deep cleanse, then followed a peel to gently exfoliate and remove dead skin. The necessary evil of extractions followed - never pleasant but definitely worth getting done properly to see a marked difference - following a hydrating mask and LED light therapy to reduce inflammation and redness, while enjoying a relaxing shoulder and neck massage.
There was a noticeable difference in the glow of my skin straight away - this facial does what it says on the tin - while all the massaging action certainly helped to reduce puffiness. After a couple of days of very mild dry skin thanks to the peel (all signs it's doing what it's supposed to) the texture of my skin was vastly improved, particularly noticeable in the reduction of pores around my nose thanks to the extractions. This is one facial I will definitely rebooking!
