Whilst we can enjoy Prosecco DOC year-round, there’s only one official National Prosecco Weekend, and that’s taking place in the Garden Pavilion at beautifulChiswick House & Gardens in West London on August 17th and 18th from 12 noon to 6.00 pm each day.
Celebrate the weekend with the UK’s favourite sparkling wine and our Prosecco DOC experts including UK Ambassador to Prosecco DOC Neil Phillips, popularly known as the Wine Tipster; Hospitalian’s Sonia Elia, a leading Italian mixologist who conjures amazing cocktails based on classics with a Prosecco DOC twist, and hugely popular cook and influencer Angelo Coassin – @cookingwithbello – who are offering free masterclasses.
Each afternoon there will be six masterclasses which will expand your knowledge of the origins, production and versatility of Prosecco DOC wines, and provide great entertainment.
Tickets to the half-hour masterclasses - available to those over 18 only, as wine will be served - need to be booked in advance. Chilled Prosecco DOC will be on sale too. You can buy it by the glass in the Garden Pavilion, courtesy of Hospitalian, taking your choice of Prosecco DOC or Prosecco DOC Rosé, and by the bottle alongside Italian charcuterie and cheese plates at the Colicci Café which is right next door to the Pavilion. Wine purchases for those 18 plus only.
There are plenty of deckchairs outside on the lawn to enjoy the sunshine whilst you sip your Prosecco DOC and relax!
