Now that May is here and the sun is finally shining, our thoughts are turning to some forward planning for summer fun! A date that is firmly in the diary is July's Wellness in the Wild Festival, heading to Rickinghall in Suffolk for two days of exploration and discovery of all things health and wellness.
The festival was founded by two school friends in 2022, with the aim of bringing people together to celebrate health and wellness in nature and the weekend is packed with activities to help you relax and recharge. Step into the Flow Tent with daily yoga workshops, pilates, barre and dance classes in the Movement Tent, ir forest bathing and sound healing in the Meditation Tent. The Talk Tent wil be home to sessions on everything from mental health and menopause to gut health, a woodland spa is home to wood-fired hot tubs, a beautiful sauna and relaxation spaces, while the Make Space will have arts and crafts sessions all weekend and the therapy field will offer massage, reflexology, reiki, holistic facial, shiatsu and more. What's more, there's live music throughout the weekend, both acoustic musicians during the day and a live DJ set on the Saturday night and even a dedicate kids' field to keep little ones entertained. Guests can bring their own tent or campervan or book one of the festival's luxury bell tents, kitted out ready with airbeds, duvets & pillows, cushions and throws and lighting.
It sounds like just the tonic for a busy city lifestyle - we've already booked our spot. Weekend camping tickets are from £25 for juniors (6-12), £55 for teens and £165 for adults (kids under 5 go free), with luxury glamping bell tents from £195 for two people.
