This performance venue opened in October 2010 and is operated by the same team that is behind the Old Red Lion on nearby St. John Street. The venue is a pub as well as a theatre, with tables and chairs facing the stage and pub food available to order throughout the evening. Plays by up and coming playwrights are performed throughout the week, while Sunday night is comedy night.

The New Red Lion Theatre opens from 5pm, admission prices vary.
