I am reluctant to give this bar a good review as I selfishly don't want everyone to discover it. It's superb and the service is second to none. The regulars are the friendliest people you could meet and make you feel really welcome.
It's an independent and if you feel that supporting local business is worthwhile then go in and buy a bottle or a coffee and spend an hour or two taking in the great atmosphere. It's not chic, it's not modern and it has the feel of a small Parisien bar.
You could miss this place it's very small and has the most pefect condensation filled windows that make it difficult to see inside, but the search will be worth it.
Alex and Polly are the owners and I implore them not to change a thing.

Cripins. We love it. Alex, Polka and Natalie provide a warm welcome every time and there is simply nowhere like it in Ealing. Great home-cooked food and a superb wine list. There's no draught beer, but who cares when you're dancing on the tables at 3am.

One of the few non chain store pubs in Ealing. This place has loads of charecter. Brilliant fun, with a large selection of wine and bottled beers.
It's not a big place, if you blink you'll miss it. Though music is played (eclectic selection), we were most impressed that we could still have a conversation with out having to shout.
When we were there, there was a late night sing-a-long around the piano with the local rugby club.
GREAT FUN. We will return
