Bolingbroke Pub and Dining Room

My sister visited me from Brighton and we went to the Bolingbroke Pub as I had heard it was baby friendly. The food was ok but our visit was ruined by an extremely rude waitress. I would suggest some training in customer service. Wouldn't go back and would never recommend.

Just to let you know, I went back again a few weeks ago in the evening. The food and service were still excellent as was the decor. This is a great find... shame it's a bit of a treck from Clapham Junction station, but I guess that's a good thing to build up an appetite en route and work off the food on the way back!

Went to this brand spanking new gastropub last week and was really pleasantly surprised. Hadn't planned on going but stumbled across it whilst trying to find somewhere to go for Sunday lunch. The decor is really simple but effective, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Our food was delicious and what was particularly good was the veggie stuff on the menu - a bit different to the usual risotto options!

We had a great time and the prices were very reasonable too. Definitely recommended!

Oh, it also seemed to be very family-friendly...there were quite a few babies around.
