This is a great little family run pub. Staff are friendly helpful and cheerful. There's a quiz night first Tuesday of every month, with free chips at half time. I've had some great parties and evenings here. You can take your own CDs in and they'll play them. Food is excellent and good value for money. All fresh and homecooked on the premises. WBeer is cheap. It's well worth a visit. Make a change for the pseudo pubs you get these days! They hire the place out at weekends, free of charge! Brilliant!

Jonathan and Oz are the most friendly pub owners I have ever met. they offered to open their pub just for me on my 40th birthday; the licence runs until 1 am. The pub itself is an absolute gem, with a large bay window and floor boards. J and O let me decorate the place the way I wanted, they let me have a sound system and I had some bands playing too. I had turned the upstairs room in a poker den/ chill out room with candles, flowers and dim light.
The beer is cheap and the service is sooooo friendly! Everybody had such a good time we'll have to do it all again next year! Thank you J and O!!
