Being a regular visitor to London, and frequently having time to kill between appointments, at various times of the day. I was looking for a friendly place that offered good food, without being hurried to vacate table, or seat, hassled to order more food, or drink, but also able to converse with the patrons and staff in both serious and jovial conversation. I found the ideal place in the One Tun.

I have now visited this watering hole seven times and on each visit I have found it to be the ideal place, even being recognised now by the Landlady and staff who have all been extremely pleasant and helpful at all times.

I am looking forward to visiting on one of the theme/fun nights which according to the patrons are worth attending for a fun nightout.

thank you One Tun

As an occasional visitor to London it was good to find a 'London Pub' that really does feel like a 'local'! Congratulations to the management and staff, who are pleasant and helpful without being intrusive.
The ambience is relaxing and the food at a good standrad giving value for money.
Well done and many thanks The One Tun.
Repeat visits only confirm our view of this gem - keep up the good work.

Bland pub with little to no character what so ever! The one star is generous... this was for the fact it is a Young’s pub and to critise the ale would be unfair. A watering hole for the business bore during the week and relatively quiet on the weekend.

The staff are a good friendly bunch, but are let down by the obnoxious Land lady.

When this rather false publican does grace the pub with her presence really should work on her customer service skills. Due to witnessing this unpleasant person first hand after a short but loyal stint in the “One Tun” I shall make a point of avoiding this place from now on. With a potentially large group of good honest sports fans and drinkers looking for a new home, we shall look for a better place to spend (a lot) of beer and eating money. This shouldn’t be difficult at all with so many places offering the same, but for cheaper! Convenience will not be a priority, which is a shame as we could and would have called this pub a local.

I think the case in hand would be the resentment of being asked, if we were going to buy drinks or sit there all evening watching the screen. Big Mistake! Did the coffees 2x rounds and three meals at door opening (the same for the last couple of weeks while the Lions Rugby were on) not constitute good enough custom.

Very Average! Avoid……

Brilliant pub, the halloween night was fantastic fun. Seems to have a new lease of life now it has a new manager i think her name is Ruth. Definetely worth going on, I'm looking forward to the next theme night and the quiz night!
Great for a chilled yet fun night out! Perfect!
Have your say
