Outdoor Area

It’s one of the most popular sporting events of the summer and one of the most oversubscibed, so this year The Imperial are bringing Wimbledon to the Kings Road. During the entire event the bar and garden will be transformed into a place to watch the worlds best tennis players without the queues or warm booze.

Firstly the garden will receive a makeover to become Chelsea's own Murray Mound including a big screen television, dedicated outside bar and specially laid lawn. But you can forget sitting on the floor as The Imperial has no plans to remove their comfy sofas and chairs and heaters, for those cooler evenings; so if their play stops, yours doesn’t have to.

If you you find yourself in this area try the Imperial. The food is delicious different and very fresh.staff friendly and efficient. Snacks are available in the bar,and to the rear a delightful restaurant together with a garden space. We really enjoyed our meal here and would deffinately return.

Clearly it's been recently refurbished and it now seems to be serving simply fantastic food. Minimalist classy decor and not a football fan in sight, me and my date absolutely loved it!

Best pub in London on Chelsea match day. Matthew Harding's ghost resides here and the buzz is great. Barbi in patio garden is a gastronomic treat. Atmospheric and a real London Boozer! Enjoy.

Despite that persons compliant I go to the Imperial arms on a regular basis and i remember myself that they were in the period of changing the wine menu and i believe i tried that wine to and it was not that plesant and 1 week after they had changed it. Otherwise the Imperial arms is a very nice vibrant place and I am there usually every thursday!! 5 STAR

I have been to the Imperial Arms twice, and both times I have found myself very dissapointed by the attitude of staff. We purchased a bottle of wine - a Pinot Grigio - which was disgusting. In fact it smelt, and tasted, corked. Staff, including the bar manager, disputed this point, calling one of out group a 'wine snob' and said that this vile wine was simply what a Pinot Grigio tasted like. If that is the case, I would be ashamed to sell wine of that quality in my bar.

Staffing issues aside, this is an attractive bar with a VIP area that can be reserved with out charge.
