The star is a very friendly pub run by mary. there are many regular drinkers in there that are very friendy. I Would definately recommend the star for a nice quiet afternoon drink

Traditional locals type pub although everyone was friendly enough when we finally felt brave enough to go inside. It is always rammed on days when the cricket is on so probably best avoided at those times.
