The staff were brilliant, drinks were reasonably priced (for Chelsea) and the meals excellent value, 2 meals for 11 pound. Even though it is a gay pub my wife, friends and I (my elderly mother in law too) were all made to feel very welcome. love this pub!!!

I worked local to the Queens Head and used it for lunch very often. I found food very good and a reasonable price (for London). Myself and a colleague had our leaving drink there and paid for some food to be put on.
We were more than happy with the spread they put on and was far better than we expected. The staff are great, very friendly and it's used by locals and not only gays. I would go there for lunch anyday.

The staff here are friendly and nice. The food however, is another matter.

The food is of poor quality, more akin to microwave meals and the portions are pathetic. Well overpriced, highly disappointing. I've been more than once and I can say that this wasn't a one off, they seem to be consistently poor.

I was a regular drinker at weekend in the early 1980s. Great tradtional pub, hasn't changed much, thank God. Used to be crowded outside on a saturday and Sunday. When the pub used to shut in the afternoons customers would go for tea at markham arms( now a bank on the Kings Arms) and Habitat cafe. Walking in there in the mid 80s was like walking in to a clone bar, tashes, 501 jeans, boots and checked shirts. They just took over the Resturant. Happy memories of a kinder not so commercialised scene all underground and exciting. Queens Head is a reasuring time Warp. Tim Smith
