Good classic boozer with a broad mixed clientèle, pool players, footy fans, music lovers and drinkers. Consistently satisfying medium priced pub food (not gastro-pub faire) and cheap to normal prices for beers/wines/spirits. Unassuming decor that makes it comfortable but unpretentious. Best of all it has happy and friendly staff. It doesn't try to be anything special and you always leave satified. Two pool tables in the front bar, plenty of TV's in a large main bar that regularly show nearly all football and there's a spacious and sunny garden bar out the back for the summer.
