Came upon this pub by chance. It has a really nice vibe and old fashioned feel to it.The bar man is very helpful and charming.
I ordered a really nice apple spritz drink and my husband had a pint of SamSmith’s - which he felt was the best pint he had drunk for a while. A hidden gem.
The Angel is a Samuel Smith pub with a great atmosphere and serves beer at extremely reasonable prices alongside a selection of pub and vegetarian dishes. It has become a meeting place for musicians and actors. They also have a dartboard.
