The Windmill

This place ws great; lovely atmosphere, beer garen that you actually wanted to sit in, excellent bar food, friendly staff. The works.

Unfortunately its been closed for months and shows no signs of reopening!

On my recent stay in London for a large weekend, couldn't find a better place to stay. The relation quality/price is excellent! The location is superb. Only few minutes walk to Kilburn underground station and some great spots of London. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, the restaurant serves great food and the beer garden is just amazing. I do recommend this hotel!

All change at The Windmill on Cricklewood Broadway. It is now under new ownership and has been totally revamped...but in a good way.

If you're a fan of The Black Lion in Kilburn, you'll like The Windmill. Same person is behind the revamp apparently. Tasteful decor. Gone are the sinister net curtains and flags. Instead, you can now see in (and out - the windows are huge), and it looks much more inviting.

The dining room, like the Black Lion is separate, though not isolated from the main bar. The main bar offers a mish mash of wooden tables and chairs, and some comfortable sofas. Currently work is underway out the back, laying the decking in time for those summer evenings. It's
