The friendliest staff this side of Yorkshire, TWO dart boards and a cracking sound system makes the Three Compasses hands-down the best pub in Dalston. Filled with a happy mix of old regulars and new punters, it always feels like a proper local - a rarity in Zone Two. Even the recent refurb didn't mess with things too much - just some nice wooden floors to replace the manky carpet and a fresh lick of the same red paint.

In an ever-growing scene of chain pubs and noisy, expensive pop-up bars, The Three Compasses sticks out like a giant thumbs up.

This basic East End pub offers simple food around burgers. Having read a review I was a little disappointed. First burger was sent back, I hadn't ordered cheese. Second burger overdone and a bit dry. Tasty but expensive for what it was, £7.50 with bacon, chips £2 for a tiny portion, and 1/2 pint about £1.70. There is a Monday-Tuesday offer, Burger, Chips and a Pint for £10, not bad.
This is so near to being really good. Needs a lick of paint, a few upholstered chairs and a couple of booths, and check their prices. My burger was not 'value for money'. They are trying hard, but could do bet

This pub has new management and they have made great changes.... Live Music, Quiz Nights, candles, good food and most of all, the best Brunch I have ever had.

We've been looking for a good Breakfast, Bloody Mary and a nice environment to have them in for ages and now we have one. I can't recommend it enough. They play good music whilst you eat one of the tastiest breakfasts you will find.

This has become our new local - you should try it out too!!
