The White Swan

This newly refurbished city pub retains old pub charms with its leather armchairs and sofas, but is thoroughly modern in its approach to fresh, affordable food. From sharing platters to toasted ciabattas, risotto to rib-eye steak, you can also sample the traditional pub staples such as Cornish ale battered haddock or a handmade 8oz burger. The lower ground floor is also open every day, but can be booked for private parties until 2am or 4am on Fridays (as can the whole pub on Saturdays with a 4am licence). Fine food, superior service, amazing atmosphere.
