The Norfolk Arms

The food was very good, but the awful service completely cancelled it out. We went for our office Christmas lunch - pre-booked and paid in advance - and when we arrived, although our table was laid and ready, they seemed surprised to see us and clearly hadn't prepared food for us. We arrived at 1 and ate our main course at 3. As the main was roast beef, they clearly started cooking it after we got there. Frankly, we were starving! A real shame as the food was impressive. There was hardly anyone else there so they don't have the excuse of being busy.. Good cook, terrible organisation skills.
