The Hope is a small pub that serves traditional pub fare. The upstairs dining room is only open on weekday lunchtimes and the menu consists mainly of sausages. They have real ales including two guest ales a week. They get particularly busy in the summer and in the evenings. They have Sky TV. Catering for private parties of up to 50 guests is available upon request.

I have enjoyed my food when I have eaten here. It's always been warm, filling, classic pub grub. The beer is ok too, standard London pub fare. It's sometimes quiet at the weekends, but at least that means I can get a seat with my friends to watch the football. Good choice of music by the barmen, who are friendly, too.

By far the worse food and service I have ever encountered in London. Cocked up our order, 3 dishes never turn up and the ones that did were poor. The chef then said he'd never got our order, despite reading it out 5 minutes previous.
Wouldn't eat here for free.
