The King & Queen is a traditional British pub that serves a selection of wines, beers and spirits. Bar food is available. There is a large screen TV showing all the major sporting events. Once a month they hold a folk club. A function room for private parties of up to 60 people is available upon request. Pavement seating is also provided.

Eat before you come here. Not good value for drinks or food. I have seen cleaner decore in the Britsh Legion. Would never come back.

This pub was one of the best in the area a while ago but has over the last 18 months got expensive and scruffy. I like real ale and there are several here to choose from but they are all expensive compared with some of the local pubs. There are no chairs to sit on when you eat lunch only stools which have seen better days and the food quality can vary. I have been going to the pub with work friends for some 4 years but recently we have been going to other pubs. I also think the carpet could do with changing as it is worn in parts and seems to smell of stale beer. (to be expected I suppose as it is old). With a good clean up and a freeze on prices this pub could be back up there with the other pubs in the area.
