Real let down, went for a special occasion, admit it was after 2pm so it was a late sunday lunch but we ordered the roast dinner with all the trimmings but were given chicken, vegetables and boiled potatoes (slightly pan fried or barely roasted). What we had expected (and had seen others receive before us, and been told by the waiter were included in the trimmings) was cauliflower cheese, stuffing, roast potatoes and a yorkshire in addition to vegetables we received. When we complained the waiter said 'we've run out, what do you want me to do?'. Not the kind of response you would hope for. He then helpfully brought out the last 3 roast potatoes and one yorkshire pudding that he had left. Between 8 of us it was pointless. When i suggested he could have told us when we ordered that they had run out of these he had little to say and there was no apology. The food we did get was very tasty but as it wasn't what we ordered it was a let down. For desert 2 of us ordered banoffi pie and the bananas tasted of onion, obviously they had been stored near them or cut with the same knife. Again not pleasant. The 12.5% was naturally added to the bill (which seems unfortunately the norm nowadays) but on a bill that cost over £200 I can say the food and service was not worth the price let alone a 12.5% tip in addition to this.

Can it get any better than this? At last, something sophisticated and stylish for the discerning Earlsfield crowd! A wide range of food, from classic comfort dishes to light sandwhiches to mains that would compete with any central london restaurant. A delightful deck outback for lazy sunday afternoon drinks or brunch on a hangover. Excellent live band on fridays too. Its now my local, and I won't even condider going anywhere else!

Imagine a perfect place with a friendly barman, cosy couches, decent artwork on the walls, beautiful fairy lighting in the restaurant, a menu full of delights for both the adventurous palate and those seeeking classic comfort, and a stunning outside deck area for a sunday lunch... This is the Jolly Gardener. I've had a great experience every time I have been there, not something that you can say for most places. And in these uncertain times, you will be happy to find its excellent value for money too.

Excellent atmosphere, great decor and friendly staff. Food was superb, far better than any other gastro pub I have been to. Lovely outdoor garden, just perfect for a gin and tonic in the sunshine. Can't think of a better spot south of the river, a real little gem.

You wouldn't know that this treasure existed unless you'd heard from a friend or a local in Earlsfield.. a truly wonderful gastro pub with such a fantastic menu (chalk board menu always has wonderful, fresh and innovative dishes)... a real must for a Sunday roast or evening dinner. The garden out the back is superb for the summer and Friday nights have a great vibe with the live music and fairy lights... HIGHLY recommend this pub which is still a bit of a secret!

This has become our local since moving in up the road. This really is one of the loveliest pubs in SW London. The info on the website isn't entirely correct- there are no pool tables or slot machines (maybe changed before I got to know the pub?). Only fantastic food, great staff and good music. They have a strong local following and it isn't hard to see why... Highly recommended - esp the Sunday roast.

This was my first time here and it's already my regular!
It is under new management - so if you haven't been there recently please pay them a visit, you will definitely be pleasantly surprised.
The food was absolutely amazing! The best Sunday roast that I've had in a long, long time and words can't describe the banoffi pie! Also, an excellent wine list!
The staff are really friendly and the decor is lovely - big leather couches, exposed brick work, bright and cosy conservatory restaurant and a large sunny beer garden - a thoroughly great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
