Hackney MOT Centre

We’ve been using Hackney MOT centre for about 10 years and have always found it very convenient and efficient - can usually be seen same day.
Recently the catalytic converter was stolen from my car, and I found Peter and his colleagues really helpful.

I have used Hackney MOT centre for both maintenance and MOTs on three cars of mine throughout the past 8 years.

Always courteous and friendly, they offer a sound, professional service to their customers.

The environment is not glamorous but functional. I don't wait there, and would rather drop the care off and pick it up later.

If one needs a sound service or MOT from a sincere outfit at reasonable prices (they are cheaper than a specialist, but not rock bottom - which in my opinion keeps them professional) then look no further for a reliable source of car care.

Had my MOT done here in May 2015. Walked in to enquire about booking my car in for MOT, was told they could do it the same day. Friendly and helpful staff especially as this is my first car.

Would recommend this garage to anyone looking for a local friendly garage. Will be returning if I need any repairs in future.

Only downside is that they only accept cash but I was able to use cash point at the co-op a few doors down

I had my MOT and Full service carried out on my car by Peter from Hackney MOT centre. I'v lived in the area for more than 10 years but its the first time i'v used the garage and i'm really glad I did. I'm very happy.
A really nice, well established, proper local, family run business.
My car sounds happy and healthy and all the work was carried out on the same day.
I will definitely use them from now on.

I took my car in for an MOT after reading the above review and was very happy with the service. Not only did they talk to me like a human being (rather than speaking car jargon I clearly didn't understand), the MOT was done quickly and for a very reasonable price.

They didn't take me for a ride, which in this day and age (after a bad experience with Kwik Fit), is a modern day miracle.

Work carried out is always of a High standard.
No problems making appointments at short notice.
Used them several times over the years...MOT, brakes, radiator, etc...
There are cheaper garages out there, However you pay for what you get... ;)
