What a little gold mine! I neede a few metres of upholstery fabric and went to Woolgars on the recomendation of a friend. I got 2.5 mts of Designer Guild fabric for £12.50 in their Bargain Basement. They have a huge stock of fabrics and haberdashery as well. I havent used their curtain making service but the same friend says they are very good too. A little old fashioned but great service.
