Food is good although over-priced and staff rude. The music is incredibly loud !!!! it is really unpleasant. Also they are not very good at charging correctly, if challenged, they will argue. Not recommended.

I've lived close to Raoul's since my early teenage years and frequently go there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon snack, catching up with friends and many other events. The food is consistently excellent and I have never had any problem with the service. Waiters are consistently friendly and polite, and I've never had an issue with the bill - I was really baffled by the other reviews! Raoul's deli (opposite) does take away food and coffees, and has some of the best coffee and cake in West London.
The only down side is that if you try to go mid morning on a weekend, you often have to queue for a seat. This does show, however, that many people are in agreement with me about the food and service quality!

Food at Raouls is good - but not if you are a vegetarian! The service is atrocious and they refuse to change/amend anything on the menu!! Most of the dishes are geared towards meat eaters and they clearly do not care if the customer is happy or not. Avoid...unless you like surly French waiters and service with a grimace not a smile!!!!!!!!

Raoul's has a good selection of high qualitiy products. Unfortunately, the staff is not particularly good at charging the correct amounts for these and, if challenged, will argue. Word to the wise -- they will not give you a receipt unless you ask for one and will not consider the posibility of mischarging if you cannot present one. Three times I challenged my bill (prior to paying) and in each instance, the total charged was too high -- in one case by £17 on a £29 pound bill. A "refund" was begrudgingly offered, but with the direct statement that I was lying -- rude and dishonest, a wonderful combination in customer service
