Oriental Kitchen

Ordered food Saturday night from my favourite Chinese and was disappointed. Only happened once will try again and if the same will have to find new restaurant. Food was Luke warm and didn’t seem to be cooked enough. They do the best mixed o’deourves but tonight the portion was very small, usually packed with seaweed but tonight they forgot. I have never had half a bag of prawn crackers!
I hope tonight was a one off.

Best chicken chow mein ever!

by being honest about delivery time! we had a family gathering of 8 on a Wednesday, presumed this would be a quiet night for ordering food....nope! we placed order just b4 7pm, was told order would take 1 and half hours, rather surprised at this, but ordered any way. after 1 hour 40 mins phoned they said almost ready, same response from them 10 mins later. we finally received our food at 9.20, without any apology or explanation, or compensation ie maybe a complementary something!? the redeeming feature was , thank goodness, the order was all correct, hot and very tasty. summary...... great food, very poor service.

The service was bad I was standing there for over 5 minutes till I was spoken too, we ordered over the phone was told 30 minutes and was still late when we collected the rice tasted reheated with old hard rice and egg mixed in, the chicken skewers were burnt and rock hard and all other dishes we ordered were unsatisfactory. Will never return and would not recomend.

This is the only Chinese takeaway I order from as I know I like the food here but every time I get a delivery the driver refuses to come up (I live in a small 3 floor block housing 6 tenants) and I've had to call the restaurant...

I have a young child which I refuse to leave alone unattended to get my delivery and every time I explain this but am still refused delivery to my door as paid for.

we normally order take away 1-2 weekly from different locations as we find consistency to be a major issue among these take away restaurants oriental kitchen was at the beginning very generous with portions but also very tasty. the food was so good that we kept re ordering week after week. Unfortunately over time their food quality and portion quantity changed to rather standard and less qualitative cousin. It seems that also their service has become less customer focused as it use to be. we wd like to see ORIENTAL Kitchen return to its BEST and be the place we always order our meal
