We have used Davril for a long time now, since 2014 for our engagement, wedding and anniversaries etc. We have always received very good service from the whole team and hence we keep coming back. The gentleman who works in the workshop has amazing skills and attention to details. He has repaired a few of my own personal pieces and they have come back as good as new. High recommended.

Excellent customer service here, found them to be very helpful to take the time to find the perfect ring. Would recommend.

I came to hatton garden with my girlfriend looking for an engagement ring, she didnt want a high street one but my budget didnt stretch bond street!

We picked a ring from Davril. It was a really nice ring and my girlfriend fell in love with it. It was in our budget and the people who worked in the shop were lovely and very welcoming. Other places didnt have the same feel.
The ring is still lovely and my now Fiancee still loves her ring. We've been back for our clean and polish and they even remembered our names when we walked in. Going back for our wedding bands soon!

Spent a lot of money on an engagement ring (north of £5K) plus a wedding ring to go with it. After some reflection my fiancee decided she didn't think the wedding ring went with the engagement ring (£400). Given it's the 21st century and the ring was a fraction of my overall spend I was very surprised when they said that they don't do refunds. His exact words were "we are not legally required to give a refund". Fair enough, but you have just lost the rest of my lifetime spend on jewelry. The worst customer service and very poor quality products. We know of two other couples excluding ourselves, whose rings have discoloured, kinked and lost precious stones due to bad fittings and materials. You will end up paying high prices for a hugely inferior product that will not last. Truly amazed these people are still in business given how bad their products and customer service are. Strongly advise not to use them!!

Really pleased with the service, as others have said, its not all the same in Hatton garden and Davril definitely showed us that. Beautiful rings, and Im just delighted to have something unique, designed for me!

My husband and I bought my engagement and our wedding rings at Davrils in 2011 and really enjoyed the experience as the staff really spoiled us with chocolates and bubbly while we chose the rings and had them resized. This August, I then decided to change my wedding band, which has 8 pave diamonds, from white gold to platinum to match my engagement ring and with a very short time frame, 2.5 weeks, Davrils did a great job and in fact the ring looks so much better now and I am thrilled with the result. I would therefore highly recommend the shop for both purchase and after service

Very pleased with the work, took in a repair which high street jeweller couldnt do and was really important to me. Talked through the options and craftsman onsite made a huge difference. would use again.

Very pleased with the service and quality here. My fiance bought my ring here last year and we went back to buy our wedding rings. The staff were really helpful and im delighted with the matching ring they've made for me, and feel that its exactly how i wanted it to look. Would recommend, and hopefully will go back for something else in the future!

I went to Hatton Garden with my fiancè to look for an engagement ring and Davril was the only shop where we have found a relaxing atmosphere.
Looking for an engagement ring can be stressfull.
In other shops we found a very "aggressive" approach, but here the staff is friendly and competent. They helped us finding the right design, and I was really pleased of the final result. Higly reccomended!

Really great service and very pleased with the ring. She is delighted and the aftercare made the whole process a real pleasure. Wasnt sure id have been as happy to take her into some of the other 'shops'in the area, but the staff here are great!

After going in every shop in "the garden", I felt most were not interested until I got to Davril;
The staff couldnt do enough for me, were very knowledgeable and I didn't feel as if I was being a burden (unlike other places).
I ended up having a bespoke design which was ready as agreed and to budget - they really helped me out - if only everything went as smooth as this!

I would have rated this store a 0 but it's not on the scale provided. I have had nothing but trouble with dealing the owners of Davril. I originally paid for a bespoke engagement ring which the owners ensured me they could make. After months of waiting, i found out that they had forgotten to order my diamond in and that the process would be delayed 6 weeks because of it. WHen the diamond arrived, they promised me i could see the setting and the diamond separately before it was set but they went ahead and set it anyway. When they called me to say it was finished, i went to pick it up only to find it was completely wrong. Not only was the ring nothing like we designed, the diamond was loose and not firm in it's setting. I went back several times until we reached a compromise on design. DAys later, the diamond was loose again. I was told that my design was not pracital and that if i wanted a securely fitted diamond, i would have to choose a ring setting from the window. This was obviously a HUGE disappointment to me as i paid for a bespoke ring! I settled for a generic ring out of the window as i was too upset to deal with these people anymore. I got a generic ring, not what i paid for, and guess what, the diamond is loose anyway, wobbling in it's setting.
Stupid me, i went back to Davril to make my wedding ring as i depserately wanted it to match my engagement ring. I won't go into any more detail (i'm getting angry thinking about it) but i ended up with one diamond falling out of my wedding band on my wedding day and several visits to have it repaired. It was a shocking job. The 10 diamonds around the band were meant to be evenly spaced and it was all uneven. They tried to tell me i was wrong. I told them to get a ruler out- i'm not blind.
BASICALLY: steer clear of these people. The jewellry they had made for me is rubbish. I've had nothing but heartache and countless visits for repairs.

Really lovely place to buy your engagement ring, or any jewellery for that matter. They have an amazing selection and can design the ring you really want. I saw something in the window and they designed it for me perfectly to get the most beautiful ring, way more than i could have imagined, and they were so nice there. Will definately be going back in the future, and have reccommended to friends who just got engaged!

I chose an engagement ring that needed resizing. The said that it was going to be ready in one week. I went all the way to the shop to discover that it wasn't ready. Getting my ring back was a nightmare. I had to chase after them and they were rude to me on the shop and on the phone. A few days later one of the diamonds came off!!! Again they said it was going to be a matter of a few days and two weeks later I was still waiting... This morning I discovered that my ring is missing another diamond again. I just took it out of the box. Im going to have to go there again and deal with those disgusting people.
Keep the money in your pocket. They will take it and want nothing to do with you.

Excellent Service- Beautiful Jewellery!!

I had to write a review following the amazing experience I just had at Davrils, and how unfair I thought the review was considering my how fantastic they were there, I'm a particularly fussy customer and was overjoyed with the ring they made for me!

My darling fiance went in a bought a ring unknown to me and made the surprise proposal a few weeks ago. The ring was beautiful and really unique but it just wasnt for me, and i know it must of been pretty daunting picking it on his own. Anyway we were both a bit worried of returning it and not sure what they would say and if we would be able to change it. To our delight the whole experience was amazing, they treated us as though nothing would be too much trouble and I enjoyed it so much, going through all the different design options.

They helped me design my own ring using a combination of designs they had in the window, and when they called only a couple of weeks later to say it was ready I couldn't believe it.

We went in to pick it up last week and it was stunning!! They treated us so well, and all the work was done with no extra charge. We will definitely be returning for our wedding bands and they will polish my engagement ring free of charge for the big day, whenever that will be!!

All round i thoroughly enjoyed the Davril experience, they make a special time extra special and really took time over us to make sure we got exactly what I wanted.
I only wish I could go back more often!!

I have had the exact same treatment as the other review posted. They promised my husband and I to have my engagement and wedding rings ready within 6 weeks. I have waited 16 weeks and they have not made them to what we ordered.

The owner now has our money so no longer wants to speak to us. Take mine and the other reviews advice and go elsewhere.

They will promise you the world and then fail to deliver. They offer customised jewellery, charge up front for it and then deliever months after they said they would. My husband and I have waited 3 months for a simple design that the owner claimed would take him 6 weeks. We still have not got what we wanted.

In my opinion, you should avoid this jeweller and go elsewhere, ignore their sales pitch, once they have your money they aren't interested in you anymore. I learned this first hand.
