Offered me a good management service and the staff were very heplful. I have had no major problems with the current tenants and hampton Reed update me when there is any problems. The rent was delayed once but that was due to the tenants changing banks. All ok and happy with the service I have recieved so far. I have recommended them to my friend and she has just rented out her flat with them. She is happy and has had no problems so far.

Awful Awful Awful - we have been waiting 6+ months for our tenancy deposit to be returned from a flat we left in perfect condition.
Deal with these guys at your own risk

Hiya Simon, we are in legal proceedings with Hampton Reed. They did also lied about the deposit (among other 100 things), we contacted DPS directly and we found out that they never secured the deposit with DPS or other protection scheme. In the end we got the money back, still in legal proceedings for the recovery of 10,000 pounds though. I will be more than happy to help you and get your deposit back ([email protected]).

Appalling letting service, incompetent staff!!!
I strongly recommend against using them with regard to letting management. Moved tenants into our property without signatures on Tenancy Agreement or all credit checks carried out. Unable to provide us with an inventory (had to do it all ourselves), did not carry out checks of the property. Forwarded rent to us late every month (generally 2-3 weeks late at a time) for 10 months and accused us of not being patient enough. When the tenants stopped paying were unable to proceed correctly with the legal matters which required us to bring in a solicitor. In fact so incapable they actually spelt the tenants name wrong on the tenancy agreement. This has caused major issues regarding court proceedings. But hey, you never know, maybe they are good at selling properties...
Well, before you decide to leave your property in their hands maybe you want to consider your options. And if it was me, definitely wouldn’t go with Hampton Reed, I rather have the property inhabited.
