Kool Cakes

I bought a fresh cream cake off the shelf and the lady at the counter was most friendly and helpful and engraved happy birthday with the name on it at no extra charge. The cake was fresh and delicious and everybody enjoyed it. I highly recommend Kool cakes Kingsbury!

Ordered two cakes one for the 18th and 2nd one for the 19th. The lady at the head office has mixed up the order even after I asked for the cake to be reconfirmed several times but she said yeah yeah I know.
Absolutely fuming no cake arrived between 11.00 - 14.00 on the 18th which was my husband’s 40th.
Called at 16.00 after work to chase it up.
Was told by head office she will check and call back. She never called I had to call her when after an hour she finally decided to reply back to my calls. She Said she can send another one but it won’t be a chocolate one it will be a plain one at the same price even though it was there fault. I then said okay and that she will send one over. I also said if she can’t send one out then to let me know so that I can get one from another store. No cake arrived my calls were ignored. Then I messaged she said the cake will be here in 10-15 mins nothing came. I rang again calls were ignored. Later on a Lady from the cake shop rang to apologise and said they were told to deliver two cakes tomorrow. It is now 6.00pm. I wanted to take the cake with us to the restaurant we were going to. She said she can deliver a plain cake but it won’t have anything written on it. I have been chasing up for my cake for 2 hours had I have know I could have quickly got a replacement cake from another shop. It was my husband’s 40th absolutely terrible service. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am sad to say I will be using another cake shop from now on.
The next day the head office rang for refund but I was busy so I rang back when I was free and no one answered the phone. So the next day I rang both the shop and head office no one answered the whole day. I then called another branch and the lady kindly chased it up for me and said she will tell them to answer there phones and they called me back and a refund was issued as I paid for the cake in full. Only order cake in store in person do not order over the phone. Although I will never return as the customer service is terrible and there was no compensation. Too much stress and hassle and ruined the occasion. They should also ask the dates of birth for the person you are buying the cake for and take down the date you want it delivered properly. I won’t order again from this place there are much better cake shops near by. Horrible experience with them, terrible service and they can’t give you straight answers. Save your self the stress and disappointment and go to another store.

I ordered the cake for my son's birthday for first time. I paid extra for specific delivery time. I understand that it's not possible to deliver bang on time but in my situation I was keep calling head office number to get my delivery as Kingsbury branch staff didn't bother to answer the calls or call back. Eventually after calling them 15 times, I received my cake when half of my guest were already gone. The staff member put all the blame on delivery man who could not deliver the cake on time and my home is not even 2 miles away from the shop.
Anyway about the cake now - I paid extra money to get extra fruit on cake as my kids loves fruits. They didn't bother about that. They didn't even write 'Happy birthday' anywhere on the cake. Seriously I never seen this kind of service anywhere before. This was my first and last time order with them.

We ordered 2 cakes for my son and mums birthday.

We received great service at the shop and we provided them with a picture of how we would the cakes to look.

They delivered the cake on the agreed date and time and the cakes produced looked exactly like the picture we had sent them with precise detail and colours. Everyone at the event loved the taste of both cakes.

I ordered a cake online for Boxing Day understandably a busy period. I had a previous bad experience two years ago but thought will try them again. The quality of the cake was very disappointing all my guests complained about the cake.
They said it tasted stale. Will never be using their service again.

I was mega disappointed with the cake service that I received, we were looking to get our engagement cake from them, we were invited over to their cake shop for a 'consultation', they made us wait for an hour and half standing over a counter, whilst the owner was running around the shop trying to do a million and one things, he kept disappearing for 20mins a time, they were unprepared for our appointment, total waste of time, we asked for samples, and were given such crap tasters, and to top of it all they kept increasing the price, we ordered from elsewhere and was 100X better

The cakes at Kool Cakes bakery were delicious and I think they have a good variety of cakes. When I ordered cakes from here, they were often dry but the fresh cream was very nice.

I loved the cakes, they were truly divine. and what is more they also sold eggless cakes which I believe is a bonus. tres bien!!!
