Patisserie Valerie

just visited Patisserie Valerie once again am 19th March.
Great croissant , good coffee , good service , as good as ever. Been coming here for years .
All started with the first Patisserie Valerie in Old Compton Street in Soho - now a chain and very good.
Only quibble - they used to sell a good selection of petit fours ,no petit fours loose at all , but who does now ? .

Maybe it was a tough shift for the staff or my kids looked at them the wrong way. The place was 80% empty at 3.00 on a Tuesday afternnon but to be completely ignored for 15 mins was enough. We don't need the grief and they don't seem to need the custom. Shame as the food looked really great.
I suppose there's a fine line between staff exuding class and the being unbearably aloof. This lot fell on the wrong side of it.
