Went today 11feb 24, about 11.30am. It was busy and had some wonderful Gozleme, people around us also appeared to be really enjoying the food which looked like a lovely Turkish breakfast. The place although quite crowded had a lovely cozy feel. I don't normally put reviews but came across the previous reviews and can't state my contradictory terms in relation to the staff that were all really pleasant.

Very poor. I was given a spinach and cheese gözleme instead of just spinach and only noticed that evening after I got home, across the other side of London. Staff should take more care. It's bad enough not displaying prices or ingredients, but they stack up piles of gözleme next to each other without any labelling. As vegan I could not eat it. I'll stick to Green Lanes.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

This place is a joke
The staff are all
Rude, arrogant and pathetic.
I ordered over £60 worth of brunch and the non English speaking staff kept on getting my order wrong.
When I would tell them that my order was wrong they would get rude and start shouting in Turkish language!

After two wrong orders the lady which I have attached her picture came out to our table and shouted that WE DO NOT WANT YOU HERE AS A CUSTOMER ANYMORE AND WILL NOT MAKE YOUR EGG PLEASE LEAVE!

We were shocked and horrified at this time and were absolutely shocked as to how a business owner can tell their paying customers that they will not prepare the rest of their meal and to leave the shop.

On top of that, the sausages that they brought out were cut into massive pieces, dark on the outside and smelt funny.

I didn’t bother mentioning this to the lady as she was muttering things about us in her language.
The tomatoes and cheese were cut into massive pieces and looked like they were from a previous customer.

The chef (was the brother of this lady) came out and started shouting in his language and we felt extremely uncomfortable and told us that the waitress is upset and will not make your egg.

Honestly this place is a joke and no wonder it is not busy!
I usually go to gokyuzu for breakfast but didn’t go this time as this shop is closer to my house BUT IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE!!!

They finally brought our tea and coffee after finished our breakfast in the end

Anyways, rude staff, don’t speak English and will kick you out if they don’t like you.

Went for breakfast. The absolute best turkish breakfast we have ever tasted.
Wonderful lady served us. She couldn't do enough for us.
I used to travel to harringay before for turkish breakfast. No more.
This is my go to place. I'll be back with my family so they get to enjoy this place their service and food.
Have your say
